Remember the Days

I remember the days

When my mind use to be

Overrun with emotions and thoughts

Of all the things good and the worst

As time went by

With each new day

And with a new brand life to look forward to

My mind emptied itself in a flash, just like that;

With a cup of coffee in hand,

I sit back and think about the yesteryear,

Smiling at the change that has taken over me,

And the life that I have been blessed with now,

Strolling down in memory lane,

Unafraid of the future,

Blinded of the ecstasy of living,

Eventually, with eyes wide open,

I’ve come to understand, that

Some things, including life, change for the better.

Wild Black Mare

Dust was kicked into the air

then there was a glimpse
of a wild black mare

Her stallion can be seen
anywhere she goes
together they run
nose by nose

Shes big and bulky
hes wide and tall
they rear up high
with no problem at all

Then the dust settles
back to the ground
the mare and her stallion
are no where to be found

Fight between wife and husband

WIFE:

I wrote your name on sand it got washed.

I wrote your name in air, it was blown away.

Then I wrote your name on my heart & I got Heart Attack.

HUSBAND:

God saw me hungry, he created pizza.

He saw me thirsty, he created Pepsi.

He saw me in the dark, he created light.

He saw me without problems, he created YOU.

WIFE:

Twinkle twinkle little star

You should know what you are

And once you know what you are

Mental hospital is not so far

HUSBAND:

The rain makes all the things beautiful.

The grass and flowers too.

If rain makes all things beautiful

Why doesn't it rain on you?

WIFE:

Roses are red; Violets are blue

Monkeys like you should be kept in a zoo.

Don't feel so angry, you will find me there too

Not in a cage but outside, laughing at you
